Thats really nice. Simple, neat and its good to see a nice amount of acoustic work.

What console and DAW do you use?

I use protools, with a creation station P/C and a projectmix IO, akg headphones, akg drum mics, akg vox mics. the vox mics in the picture are carmins. kinda cheap but perfect for practice i feel.

Look what came on the truck today!

1937/8 Hammond Model A. Pretty much upgraded to B3 spec (and better!)

Cool Obi! You pobably don't have room for that grand piano anymore.
I have the room now so just send it along and you can come by and play it anytime;)

Thanks Brax & FS

You know there's always room in the studio! Actually, all I have up there is a Rhodes Suitcase and a WurliTzer. And a Hammond M2

A trip to OR sounds pretty nice right about now. My wife always tells me how west coast she thinks I am.

AWESOME!! I absolutely love B3. Played in a band in the 70's with a B3 player. Too good...untill we had to move it after a gig..and then unload it at home.:D But it was worth it. Theres no sound like it. Almost as good as a Dobro.:D Nice score.

Hey FS, where in Oregon are you?

Cool...is that an editing station or something back there in the corner? If you use it for anything important it should be moved out of that corner.

When you look at the videos (above), it explains what it's used for. But to make a long story short, it is simply used as a monitor for the other station and doubles as a B reference.

It's been a while since I've posted my area and I've made some upgrades/changes so here's pics of where I'm at now...

Roland 2480 linked via Presonus VFire to a Dual 3.04 Gig Xeon XP Pro box running Sonar 5.2 Producer with 3 gigs of Ram

Mackie Big Knob, Yamaha NS10's, Wharfedale 8.2A Diamond Pro's and a powered 10" sub for monitoring

Dell Inspiron XPS Pentium 4/3.4 gig laptop with 2 gigs of Ram, Tascam US428, Studio Logic SL161, Proteus 1 and Roland D110 modules for Midi and Video Editing.

i manage wit my computer and a cheap recording studio pluss an ok mic
but i use vst plugins too tweak the sound right and its proven to make
reasonable sound quality
but offcourse it could be better, but for now i'll manage wit the cheap version of
the recording studio dream

oh yeah and do i need anything else to get a clear vocal from my avrage mic
what i meen is, is there a box u could buy and conecting the mic to and conect the box to the computer.. something too reduce the noice or clearify the sound, or anything else
i like to experiment wit different things to make the best result
