Let me introduce myself...
I was 13 when I first heard that song. For years I thought Jagger was singing "I'm Emmanuel Antayze" ! Later on when he sings "Made damn sure the pilate washed his hands and sealed his fate....", I thought he was singing "Redemption of the pilot......". The weird thing is that I have no recollection of hearing the word "Redemption" before I was in my 20s....I'm a man of wealth and taste!
I just made like to Rami.
Where's WalDave?
I think he gave up on this thread and moved on to others.
'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a DAVE
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.
