Ok, dont laugh, I have an old Leslie 820 Pro that when working, actually sounds decent. Just recently the remote module wont fire either of the horn motors for some reason, I know the module has power and the motors themselvs work and it appears that all fuses are good. Does anyone out there have any info or has experienced a similar problem with one of these boxes?
Help, info, opinions, very welcome.

could be a blown relay?

There is a relay module that steps down the voltage to your footswitch, so that you are not switching 110VAC with each step...

Check it out, it should be a clear box about 1inch square with thin metal contacts that close when you step on the switch.

Check to see if any contacts look burned or pitted.

Then good luck finding a replacement part!

mall, thanks for the link and the response,
Dom, the relay in question,,,, is it in the foot switch or on one of the boards in the cabinet? Theres two, one I believe is the motor control board and the other an amplifier.
Thanks

The relays would be in the cabinet

If the horns aren't turning, then the motor control board may be bad.

You may have a newer model then mine and it may use switching transistors instead of relays? That would be harder to fix, and would involve de-soldering and testing etc....

Doe's it have relays?

Dom;)
