Thanks Dog!

I should have probably went more original like you and snake but I went the easy route and stayed with Lemon's melody. It seemed to be fitting to the song and I just changed up the harmonies a bit and a few other parts.

Glad you liked it :)

hehe, thank you :o

Just my first try but thanks. Instead of doing more original like dogman and snake I went the path of the same melody as Lemon. Also I am clueless on redcording still so not much in the way of mixing it, but ty all the same :)

You laying down some vox?

Nice Work cincy_kid,

I like some of the harmonies and backing you have in there!.....Not a bad effort for someone who is supposedly clueless on recording! :)

haha, thanks gorty ~

I am a noob at recording for sure...I didn't say that I couldnt hold a tune a little bit though :D

I used to be front man in a cover band for a few years and have sang my entire life.

I have not really sang much in the past few years though, so I need to strengthen my voice again (so it dont crack like I did in the line "Flashes in my mind")...but eh such is life...

Thansk again gorty ~ great solo btw

Cincy, I think your vocals are excellent and would love to use them in some form in the final mix.

Is there anywhere I can download just the vocals on their own with none of the music, dry? One file for the main, another for the backin vox would be even better

Hey lemon, Thanks man!

Hrm, if you want to use them, I may try to fix that "Flashes in my mind" line and then I can get you the 2 dry tracks per your request.

Stay tuned... :)

Lemon, here is a "Dry" take on vox. But there are three tracks of them!! :D

It takes on a different flavour without effects. I rock out a bit more if there are effects going on...just does something to me. Dry, is just that ....DRY.... :p

I sing in the moment.....http://www.soundclick.com/eurtsongs

nice job true!

You have a very good voice and I think you added a nice flavor to the song :)

Well at least this one sounds OK.......that effects things on your 1st song was like something to hide. Reverb use comes under the heading of moderation. Hey...you don't know but there is just a pinch of reverb on all the voices in that recording.

Ok, my first attempt at this.

Dogman....I liked the way you allowed the breaks for some instruments to play in your version. At the beginning you let the drum parts play a few seconds just as I would have.........I beat my head against the wall trying to tell True that some lead breaks were in order, but somehow she seemed to have other instructions from the Lemon Line of thought. But you and I are old guitar nuts, well your not that old, but still considered a guitar nut I suppose, and we know the guitar players love to show off alittle in any song. Hell I'm not sure what instruments you play. We know some simple playing in between the voice is acceptable huh? You did just like I wanted it...let the song play some melody and the end just played right out into space. Good job on picking where to listen and where to sing. But as I always say "What the Fu..do I know, I'm just having fun".

Hey, thanks man. I do play guitar, although rather poorly, but love it. Thanks for the compliments man. I might give this another try, just for fun, and maybe something can be used as a backing vocal. Or not... :D

That's my girl! :D

Your voice is just crying out in this one True!..As Dogman said..."Very full of emotion"
This reminded me of some early Stevie Nicks/Christie McVie recordings!....That is meant as a compliment!

I, for one would like to hear just one vocal track by itself...seperate from the backing vocals and then add the backing vocals in, I want to hear everything your voice is conveying here. The backing vocals are taking control over the main vocal line in parts, but hey True......I dig very muchly!
You have something in your voice True that carries so damn well...I actually got goosebumps from this!

I would love to hear your lead vocal line with some low backing vocals by the Dogman himself! A single lead vocal line True with some subtle backing vocals that you and Dogman could work on and get the harmonies just right would sound awesome!

I have got this musical vision (now I'm starting to sound all fruity and creepy) of this tune heading in the direction of Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty's.."Stop Dragging My Heart Around".....!!!
I think between the two of you a nice contrast could be displayed in this tune!

Great job on this one True.........Well Done Mum!...I'm proud of ya! :D

Great vox True...I need them bare on their own....with no music. As mentioned the lead vocal on one track and your backing on another would be great to work with. Waiting on the same from Cincy

Gorty, good man....that's exactly what I'm looking for, just your part on it's own without any of my backing. Perfect.

Snake man....the way I have it in my head the hamond should be in the 4 bars before the guitar solo....3:19 or something, I forget right now. It's the part that goes D, E, G, E, D, C, B right before the solo maybe even the 4 bars before that on the Am, C, E part just building to a huge swell before the solo kicks in. I'm gonna pay more attention in my next life ;)

Hey man, I'm going to try to fix the synth and see if I can get you a track tonight ;)

LOL!!! Okay Choc!!! You do know me well musically.....you also know I am cwazy when it comes to music and liable to do anything~!!! :D

But kidding aside...I was asked to come in with the vox, where the original vocals did. Least ways that was my understanding. I heard places for a break, and there are a couple of breaks that were not supposed to be there, as in the original, yet I did them anyway, because it just felt right. There are a few other places I heard breaks, but I just didn't want to go too far from Lemons request.

Yes, I understand about the reverb...well not really, I like effects. I feel more confident with them~!!

Yes, you geetar dudes like your playing time...who doesn't? I for one love to hear it~!!! I guess I could play a note or two myself, eh Choc? :D

I am having fun, and do enjoy all of this!!!

Thanks for helping me with this Choc, I truely appreciate it, and hey...someday who knows.....I did buy a Powerball ticket today.....Varrroooooom!!!....

True, your bud right back!!!
:) :) :)
