Learning, need advice!

Hey everyone, just bought my new equipment, and did my first song to practice on Fl studio (that took me the whole damn day x.x)! But I really don't understand a lot about EQ's and mastering and such, I just wanted to give it a more professional sound, it sounds kind of artificial, I don't know.. so what do you think I could do about it? Just some tips would be helpfull!

I recorded the piano and voice with mic, guitar with amplitube, the drums are pre-made loops, and the rest are just samples that I played from midi keyboard.

Lol, just ignore the last bit, it's actually kind of a gag song.

Turn up the vocals and it will sound pretty good. Did you use EZ Drummer for the drums? Sounds like it

Hey chickenstomp, yes, I did use Ez Drummer, I'm impressed you recognized it!
Thanks for the tip, my voice recording was really low, even after normalizing it, do you know how I could increase it a little bit, besides singing louder? Or is it really not that important as long as I turn the volume up on the Fl studio channel controller?

I agree with the turning up of the vocals. Somehow bring the piano in front of the song more, its like its tucked in next to the drums and stuff when it needs to be standing up in front everything. i'm not sure but it sounds like it switches from a straight beat to a swing beat here and there. not sure if thats on purpose or not but its a little distracting sometimes. the Portuguese is really pretty sounding. Theres one break that is really well done in the middle somewhere. love the ending!

Yeah, now that you mention it, the piano is really at the same level as the drums, I'll try and turn it up a bit somehow.
I'm actually a little clueless about drums and beats in general, so I think the change that you hear could be from a poor choice of loops here and there, for example the filler somewhere in the last chorus that leads to the end. You're quite right, all the ssxchh sounds in portuguese are really sounding and sometimes don't get along very well with mics, even with pop filter. Really appreciate your help!
