LD Condensor for Male Vocals

Thanks for the advice. I only plan on recording vocals at this point and the only other instrument I play is the violin so unless the Shure SM7b's versatility probably wouldn't be utilized much.

The MXL 67G looks like a pretty safe option (even if I don't like it, its pretty cheap). Do you know how it compares to the similarly priced Behring B-2?

Video does open up more options than just audio. Nobody really listens to just audio anymore outside of ones car. A picture goes a long way on a sales pitch. And just having it, even at the flip level, can put you ahead of the competition. Everyone wants a youtube clip now, not just audio over a movie of an old image.

Probably beyond your budget, but I've been digging the samples I've heard from the Kel HM7u. The other models don't seem too bad either. No hands on with them yet. AT4047 and SM7b, maybe even an EV RE-20, and others are good choices. If you're unsure settle for something popular so you can offload it at/near costs in a reasonable amount of time.
