Laney rules!

If you can swing the price, the VC series Laney's are way better than the TF's. Not that the TF's are bad, but the VC series is a "real" tube amp. Of course, I imagine most people are going to say you need a Tele and some form of Fender tube combo for Country music, and they may be right. While Laney's valve amps are not really known for being country machines, the VC is a very versatile amp. I really love the clean channel and I know you could plug a Tele into it and it could do Country with the best of them.

Of course, I got my Laney VC-50 and the 2x12 extension cab because I'm a Tony Iommi fanatic.....it's pretty much the same thing as a 50W head and a 4x12 and has all the features of their VH series heads. With the extension cab, it runs at 4 ohms and will pretty much take the paint off the walls on the overdrive channel. I love it, but it wasn't cheap.
