Is the Oktava MC012's cardioid cap a wide pattern cardioid - like the MXL603s?

Easy to get-yes real cheap-no. The sound room sells them for $65 each. Veru hard to get from Guitar Center. There is a "capsule kit" with the pmni and hypercardioid cspsule, but most GC's don't have them in stock.-Richie

FYI-I called the Sound Room a couple weeks ago looking for shock mounts, and due to a death at the company, they're not taking orders right now.

(Also FYI-My local Guitar Center got in the actual Oktava shock mounts...they look really cool to my tastes, but audition them as you would any other Oktava product. I found the QC to be unbeleviably bad, and 80% of the ones I looked at were broken down, misaligned, floppy, or otherwise screwed up. I found a couple that were acceptable and picked them up for <$15 ea.)

Well, I managed to score an MC012 with caps for £160 - not the cheapest price, but not the 200 + that most places are asking here.
