When I used to work on an ASR10 (for sale anyone?)

I would make a drum pattern on one track, then copy it to a second track. This allowed me to adjust effects on each track differently, and to isolate several dif. music sounds (bass drum, snare, symbols, etc.) onto seperate tracks .

Yeah u can just play each piece on sep. tracks from the beg. but I always run into TIMING issues when i try it that way. I use the "copy" feature to keep everything on time -- without a doubt!!!

So the stupid question is: can i do this on the korg triton studio? I keep losing my self in the dammm manual . . . with all their references to the 2nd n 3rd book, etc.

Any one?

Whats up man,
Its simple just use the copy function, set what track you want to use and proceed. Then assine the same drum kit to the track that you copied it to. Then go to erase/ shift fuction and check erase, find the note onthe keys that u want to erase while holding the enter key. U will see the note change in the window. Do this for starting not and ending note and proceed. In other words u can find the drum that is on f5 by holding enter while pressing the enter key. I hope I make sence.
