Is There Any Frikkin Way . . . Any "conversion" Box To Buy That Can Be Hooked Up To The Korg Triton Studio To Give You Usb Device Capabilities . . . There Is No Way I Want To "get Rid Of" My Korg Just To Get The Blue Extreme So I Can Have The Usb Stuff . . . .

Yes.

This will convert your Triton into a USB-ready monster of a machine.

That's just a MIDI interface. It won't allow you to dump wav.'s into your puter like the USB port on the Extreme Blue.

It will only pass MIDI and SysEx messages back and forth, no audio!

The Extreme's other USB connector allows Extreme to play host to its own external devices — hard drives or CD burners, for example (see the box on page 182 for more on this).

You've obviously never heard of a lil' ol' thang called 'Sample Dump Standard'. Sure it takes forever, but it's still the only 'conversion box' available to get the original poster to his (admitedly out of reach) goal of converting a plain old Triton to 'extreme' specs...

yo thanks for the info/link . .. i admitted int eh post (in fewer words than more) that my goals is out of reach . . . lol . . . i was just hopin!! i have grown so impatient -- with waiting for the triton to burn my cd of waves once i have made a song

i have never heard of "sample dump standard" either . . . please enlighten me

I stand corrected.

Off to google now.
