My Korg T2 has been out of battery for a while now, and since then I've just been using it as a midi controller. However I wanted to play with my Korg T2 sounds again so I finally decided to replace the battery after reading how to do it in this forum. Took it out and took it to a Radio Shack and got the same one. I replaced the battery without problem and when I turned on the Korg T2 - the LCD screen was completely blank. I tried turning it on and off, nothing happened. So I tried pressing the 0/Fine and 0(Fine) and Prog A button to show anything either rom version or reset the keyboard. Nothing worked, the LCD is still completely blank when I turn it on now. I tried various combinations of 0/Fine and other buttons too to see if anything worked. No luck.

Everything else seems to be working except the LCD.

Do any Korg or Korg T or M users have any idea what is going on here and how I can fix it? Thank you.

the sound banks on those were on a rom card that needs to be reloaded... are you the original owner?? didya keep those cards??? you might be able to find some online at a korg users group... other wise ya just screwed the pooch...
