I just scored one off craigs list for $20...are these better than normal tuners?

Sweet deal! They are much better than normal tuners. I have one in my studio and I find them to be much more accurate. I get all of my musicians to tune through it.

I read the description provided. It says it has cents or strobe display. Hence the confusion.

I hit another guy today for a $10 Yamaha bass drum trigger for my Roland SPD8.

Just to add to the confusion... There's a difference between a strobe tuner and a chromatic with a strobe display... And yeah it's still a great score... but strobe tuners are a completely different league than chromatic...

Yup. That's what I meant too. We're on the same page. And yes, ANY rackmount tuner for $20 is a great deal.
