Hi everyone, I've been a fan of this forum for a long time. Learned a few things and had a few people work on some of my bands live stuff for mixing practice.

Here's our debut album, we'd all appreciate if you all wanted to give it a listen. You can download the music if you like. the album is free and there is a button to download on this page.

The mixing process was a real nightmare. lots of lessons learned. The raw drum tracks weren't that good and we were deceived by our recording engineer, thinking he knew what he was doing because he had a lot of good equipment at his disposal. End result was after lots of $$$ spent for tracking and a bit of mixing. I took the tracks home and mixed the entire thing myself

Regardless, its music that we're happy to put out and we hope you enjoy it!

Follow up: I'd like to take back the comments against the engineer. The idea was to have an answer before people developed their own ideas why it doesn't sound all that great. However, that's not the purpose of this thread. It's all about bringing out some music. If I could edit my post I would do that!

Had this playing a while in the background today pretty sweet stuff. How long would you say you were working on it?

Thanks! Some of the songs were conceived quite a few years back. But it took about a year and a bit from the beginning of tracking to the end of mastering.
