I use the drums from Casio CTK-671 keyboard to record drums. Is there any tips that might help me make them sound better. You can tell right away that they are keyboard drums.

If you're using synth drums, the short answer is that there's nothing you can do to them to make them sound like acoustic drums. Short of actually buying yourself a drum kit, or finding a drummer, samples are your best bet. If you've got a computer - and I'm guessing that you do, seeing as you're on this forum and all - I'd suggest getting hold of something like Fruity Loops, Reason or Acid, all of which you can use to make loops or even full tracks using one-shot drum samples.

On top of that, there's a UK music tech magazine called Computer Music which gives away a cover-mounted CD every month that contains stripped-down but fully functional versions of sequencing and loop-making software. I believe the magazine's available internationally if you're not from the UK.

I use Acid for my recording program but have never seen the drum loop part. But thats not saying much maybe I'll look a little more into it. I also had Fruity Loops but it just seemed really time comsuming to work with.

Check out Drumagog. It is designed to replace the recorded drums sounds with a variety of sampled drums sounds.
