Just received MXL V67m but have a quick question....

Hi guys thanks for the advise on jumping on the MXL V67 Mic. However upon receipt I noticed it does not come with the cable to attach it to my soundcard? What type of cable wire would I have to buy and does anyone know where to obtain one fast? Still awaiting for the Pre-Amp too....

You can't attach it to your soundcard.

You'll need a standard XLR mic cable to connect the microphone to a preamp (the pre must provide phantom power). Then you'll use whatever kind of cable necessary to connect the preamp to your soundcard. Your pre will either have 1/4" TRS jacks, or XLR, and your soundcard will either have a 1/8" stereo line in jack (if it's a consumer card like a soundblaster), or 1/4" TRS jacks (or just TS if not balanced).
