We just published a really cool interview with Grammy Award winning mixer Dave Pensado on theProAudioFiles.com.

Dave talks about some really cool stuff. I like how he discusses the different approaches needed when mixing rock vs pop/r&b.

I like what he talked about regarding ambiance with in the mix.

The text color to the back ground made it for hard reading though. Were the answer to the questions in grey?

I am curious about the whole phase thing he spoke of. Not sure why one would try to cancel out something that is too loud unless it was in a room mic. Worth experimenting with though. The questions were good. The grey text was unpleasant to me as well.

I'll see what I can do about improving the text. I get mixed reviews about it, some people don't mind it though.
