Just got my gear.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for their advice. I ended up getting the Studio Projects B1 with a VTB1 pre...primitive gear, I know. This stuff is all new to me.

But anyway, does anyone have any advice for recording, pertaining to preamp settings, EQ, ANYTHING? I plugged it in and recorded a little something but I feel like I don't know what I'm doing and I would like to know how to make it sound better, if not just a little bit. So yeah, any help would be great.

The best thing I can tell you is play around with the setting on the eq and stuff to you get a good sound.

It seems like the treble is kinda low...how would I go about fixing that? I have audition btw...if anyone even uses audition...
