Hey Fellas,

Though there is a 47.98% chance that Tex will answer this, I'll ask the group none-the-less. I just got the controller, it kicks, feels nice, kinda chinsy knob feel, but ok, nice LED, 9 Presets, USB, B-Day gift so free, yada-yada; anyways, I'm trying to fugure out how to customize the CC's (I think) for each knob amd I can't quite figure it out. I know which # I want (ie 10pan, 93chorus, etc), I just can't figure out how to change the CC# on the actual controller. For some synth's it just controls wrong/other knobs. I guess this question may only be able to be answered by an owner of the controller, but those boards are dead, and I'm kinda scared of going to customer support, from what I've heard. Is there a site or some source where I could go and get some sort of inputable "patch" for the controller that would map the buttons corectly??? Am I a retard?????

Any help is, of course appreciated, thanks!!

Well you stumped me on that one. It must mean your a retard ;)

I imagine that's the type of unit you absolutely need the manual for. They probably want you to hold down 2 different buttons and twist a 'value' knob.

Good Luck.

Yeah Tex you're right all the way around:

1. I need the manual--> problem: The manual is about 1 3/4 pages of absolute bullshit, nothing except...

2. You need to hold the (2) contr. assign buttons together at once and tweak/twist a value knob--> problem: I can't change the CC value (eg teh "cutoff" value is 70 for the Pro 52, but it's 74 on the Evolution and I can't change that value (74)...

3. I'm a retard-->problem: OK, nobody's got any problems with this one, yup, a retard, good...

Guess I gotta call customer service and test those murky waters.........................................................

Thanks anyways man,

OK I figured that BS out, what a joke it was assigning each knob--> push these seven buttons together, hold for 1.3547 secs, release and tap once, then punch in #............not not really but still a bunch of BS none-the-less.

Now I'm wondering if I can do anything about the latency with the USB connection. My PC is plenty fast enough, have an Audiophile 2496, Cubase 5.1, etc. but still some latency. Would this be reduced if I just connected it via MIDI, as opposed to USB??
