I own a Fender CVR (Custom Vibrolux Reverb) amp, and discovered something that made it sound sweeter...at least to my ears. I just took a guitar cable and linked the "Bright" channel 1 to the "Normal" channel 2, and plugged my LP Studio in the "Normal" channel 1. Adjust the "Bright" channel levels to taste, and it just sounds more full IMO. Has anyone else tried this?

i remember once i was using someones Marshall ,,which i thought sounded rather dull. the fella came over and did just what you did with yours. FANTAsTIC it was!but does it do any long term damage i wonder? hmmm,,,,,

Thats "jumping channels" Guit players have been doing it for years..Marshall nonmaster volume amps in particular{think Plexi's}Ahhh it takes me back..LOL...Why I remember when we didn't have master volumes and The DiMarzio super distort P.Us just came out...And I used to have to walk 10 miles to school..in the snow of course:eek: :p :D

all i can think of that it would do would be push your power tubes a little harder, and your output transformer. it wont fry the out put transformer, but you could be replacing tubes more often.

i really wish i COULD do it with mine guys,,,,,
mine is a non overdrive type of amp head,,but it annoys me greatly how theres no real bottom end of it at all,i hav ethe bass on 10 treble down low,,and presence almost all the way off.
oh to have those 4 precious inputs!
