just bought a brc!

yo! i have 3 adat xt20's and just bought a brc remote. anybody got any tips, good experiences, bad experiences. just looking for some consolation in my purchase! :) i have a motu 2408mkIII, but most of my clients request to be recorded on adat first. that way they can keep all their original tracks. anyone else do this? i kinda like using them. seems almost "analog". lol the transport really sucks with the lrc though.

I've been using one with a couple of ADATs for a few years and now with an HD24. Ya gotta love The BIG REMOTE. Do you have the roll-around cart too?
 
no, i didnt buy one with it. i was thinking of making my own. i am pretty handy with wood and metal. :) i payed $335 for it on ebay. it is really hard to find one under $400 even.

do the adats lock in a bit faster with the brc as the master? or is it still the same. that is really the only thing that really annoys me!!!
 
You can do some amazing things with the BRC, you may never get to use all the features, but it is a super tool in an ADAT studio.
