Just a basic question about mixing console

I am using free and open source software (LMMS) to create a few musical traks at home..

I am using a few VSTi plug-ins... but the problem is that a few of them work.. and a few does nt!

When i checked the download page it said that-

Note: This plug-in uses multiple outputs, you may need to route the outputs in your host to channels 1 & 2 to get any sound.


what does it mean!!! can uhelp me pls..!

The VST plugin maybe a stereo effect, so you will need two channel ie, left and right to make it work. This would be true for effects such as flangers etc where the effect flanges from left to right

Could they mean more than two out puts? (Can't imagin you don't have at least a pair already.
You do have your card set for stereo outs (not just aq mono' just in case?
