B.Sabbath - thanks for listening. You heard the one and only version (so far). By tomorrow, however, there may be a second version. :) Glad that you liked it.

Chris - I'm still on dial-up. Jagular could probably walk the file to me faster than trying to transfer it electronically. If it doesn't show up tomorrow maybe we'll discuss transferring an .mp3 of the vocal. Hopefully it won't be necessary (i hope i hope i hope)

acidrock - just one of life's mysteries I guess. If I had any real knowledge about this shit, I would have had a hit record by now and could stop hanging out around here! :D

Im getting to this one late.Too much music in this place to keep up with lately.

First off I love all of Restless Hearts old stuff.Killer group.

You guys did a good job on this one.You definetly have to have the vocal chops to cover this one,and you guys have the chops.Lots of nice opportunities for harmonies in this one and you guys covered it well.

Good recording all the way round.Enjoyed it a lot.

I love this. Nice job on the cover. The vocals have a Willie Nelson influence. Am I right on this? Not saying the voice, but the style of the vibrato.

Kramer - thanks for checking it out (I take back all my nasty Dan Reeves comments :) ). Also thanks for the positive feedback. However, if you like Restless Heart, you really need to check out the new version of this song I'm posting tonight. And I'll leave it at that.

Mountainman - also thanks for checking in. Appreciate the feedback. However, I doubt sincerely that the singer has a Willie Nelson influence. He does have a heavy natural vibrato, but based on what I know of him, I would guess his influences are more late '50's, early '60's doo wop singers. He also has great diction, a' la Sinatra. But you raise an interesting question, and I'll ask him about it.

Everyone Else - if you have been following this thread you know that we are experimenting with trying a new lead vocal for this song. Courtesey of one of our own homerec.com members, Jagular. To my mind, this song needed one of you boys from south of the Mason-Dixon line to cover it properly. Not only did we find one of them, but we found one with some pretty good vocal chops. :)

Under the direct demands of ChrisHarris, I am posting this under a new thread. Soon as the upload finishes, I will do so. The only question now left is does the rest of the track pale against the vocal...................................

Naaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh :D
