Josephson c42 'clone'

After listening to the examples on flatpick.com with their sdc shootout, I crave a Josephson c42. Sweet goodness. That high end is awesome, too pricey though. Anyone know of some similar mics for less $?

The Shure SM81 streets @$349, the AT 4041 @ $299, the Rode NT5 @ $429. There some examples of
"cheaper mics". As to whether they "sound" better than the Josephson c42 clone is entirely subjective.

I was pretty lit up my the josephson, I think think will entail me selling my ADK SL 's and my Sm7 to get me the c42 and a LD to be determined.
