what do you guys think of the Joe Meek mics? i hear very little about them on the web but i know that they come from the same group that makes Studio Projects mics.... anybody use them?

The mics are made by 797 audio in China. It is the same company that makes the Studio Projects mics ( as well as many others )

I had a JM 47 for a little bit. I used it two times and then returned it. Maybe I didn't give it a fair chance, but it took me all of about 60 seconds using it the second time and hearing that super high sizzle and I knew I didn't want it. So, I don't have much experience with it, but my brief experience was that I don't want any more experience with it

interesting what you say about that mic, i wonder what others have to say about them also... i hear that they make something that is the same thing as a MXL 603 but is i guess at one time cheaper than a 603... they also make one that is a nice cool lookin green color or somethin.... but i just wonder what people think of them as they seem to not get much looking over these days.
