Jangly Pop Song For Review

if you like it then we're happy.

i relistened to the song, and the vocals didn't sound as low as i thought on 1st run. i like them where they are too.

if you got any others, i'd love to hear some more off that album.

Actually, the more I think about it, I took almost all your guys' suggestions: I turned down the violins. I brightened the bass. I turned up the kick drum. I turned the reverb down on the backing vocals. Each of those improved the sound.

You may be done dealing with comments at this point, but I'll chip in anyway.

This is a great huge arrangement. Great work!

Only gripe is it lacks bottom. Could probably be fixed by bringing up the bass.

I like this song a lot...a very nice popsong with a good drive. Good vocals.

The real drums are a delight to hear. The Rhodes patch through a tube drive really works great!

Mix sounds a little hot. Are you sure nothing's clipping?

Vocals need more warmth, their own space. And you should find a way to control the silibances.

Good Voice, a little like REM.

Nice and pop.

I like the string/violin solo but it could use some more space and reality to it.

The lead vox is a strong feature here, but i would like to hear more of it.
I also find that a little dead sounding.

I am a real bass player as well. I like the sound of the Rhodes better for this song.

I know the song is clipping. For the final version of the song it will not be.

Anyone know how to lock a thread? I don't want any more feedback on this song.

I figured out how to close this thread.

It's not that I don't appreciate your guys' feedback, but I definitely think what you guys want out of this song and what I want are very different, and I don't want any additional comments undermining my fragile psyche .
