Here is a video of last year.

Helps to have a fireworks company in town and an airport to stuff 50 thousand people in.
 
Sheesh. Probably some quack that doesn't want to hear fireworks. So he threats.
 
Knee-jerk law enforcement response. They don't like large rowdy gatherings and will save $$$ on overtime pay.
 
But the Chamber pays all of that overtime to police and fire dept. Tens of thousands of dollars.
 
Did seem pretty knee-jerk though.
Seems like a master plan to get deeper into the pockets for more money and control.
 
Too bad. Do you get any kind of guarantee money, Henry, or was this a free gig?
 
No - was a big money gig for me with no guarantee sooooooooooooooo ....... Just a big loss. :cursing:
