Let me know what you think, post a review.

This is a song about someone that you thought you trusted, only to find out you're second best!?!

The workhorse used to make the cd is cakewalk's SONAR.

Pick up a copy if you like the songs.

Feel free to critique my mix/master
what kind of improvemnets does it need??
DOES A PERFECT MIX EXIST, DO YOU HAVE THE PERFECT MIX? IF SO LET ME HEAR IT.
we're talking home recording here, not major labels

Sounds good. The recording is really clean, and the tune had it's moments. THe rim shot on the drums and the toms sounded really good. The vocals sat well and the recording was really strong, I like the parts with the swinging bassline (keyboard). The chorus, I guess. Sounds great.

Thanks so much for your review! It's exactly what I was looking for. I used the a-b technique where you listen to commercial cd's then your own.

Thanks again.

Nice job jam!....I listened to both tunes on your page and thought both mixes were just fine.

Just a couple comments on "Part Of You": Probably a personal preference but I would've liked to hear a little "thicker" vocal track...give the vocal a little more presence. You've got a great melody goin' there and I really liked your use of echoing the phrases.

I am digging zebum. As was mentioned, it nice and clear . The piano was really super.

The low end sounded hollow, as if your speakers arent too accurate in the low end. Thats the monly thing I have. peace

Thanks for your review, I'm going to double up the vocals in the future to give it more presence.

You are right about the low end. My monitors have a really strong low end which forces me to kill the low end a little, to reduce rumble on regular sound systems, boomboxes etc.
Any advise on this matter?
