It's ghetto, but turning a closet into a vocal booth?

Hello Mike, forget the girlfriend routine, just jokin with ya. I do that a lot.

Ok, you've got the ball rollin now. Cool. I uploaded the pic. Opened in Paint Pro, cause its a jpg, but when you zoom jpgs, they turn into mush. So this is what I want you to do.

It looks like you scaned some sort of Real Estate marketing plan. This tells me something:D Looks like you circled the studio/closet, so if you can hand draw the room, not even to scale, but draw it so I can see the actual walls, then measure every single interior dimension in your studio/ closet, behind the closet, wall thickness at the doors, door opening widths, window widths.... label the dimensions on each wall, AND the adjacent areas.....then scan it and drop it in here, I'll punch the numbers into Autocad to scale. THEN we have something to work with, ok? I'll upload it here for who ever wants to put their .02 in, and we'll go from there. Sound ok?

Well, you certainly don't sound like the same person that started this thread. Funny how that is, but I've been there, done that. Soooooo....get the stuff up here and were off and runnin.. and hey, I'M the moron title holder here. Watch your step fella.;)

Heres a sample of what I mean.

Hello Mike. I just wanted to clarify something here. I just figured out that you have already conversed with Steve.(aka Knightfly on the grabber thread) so that tells me you been hanging here for a while already. I just want you to know HE is the expert I was referring to. I just stuck my neck out on your thread cause, like I said, I'm a dick sometimes. Sooooo, if your into it, do what I said and I'll drop your "as built" drawing to scale in here. But he and others are really the guys that can tell you how to do this CORRECTLY. I can suggest stuff, but it would be subject to their experience. But I WILL draw it up, once the construction solutions are posted, and I will try and do stuff myself. I mean, after all, I've got my .02 too. BUT, Steve really is the guy with the real stuff. So maybe, IF he has time he can pop in here(he's real busy) and take a look, and tell us EXACTLY HOW. Now, I can do layouts, and suggest plans and even quasi tell ya what I would do, but the acoustics construction are his bag. OK. OK. Later.
