Is this mixer good?

Planning to buy a mixer and our city music store has this: http://www.alesis.com/multimix4usb

It says it's good for podcasting etc, but didn't mention singing. Does this have good quality for singing and rapping? Should I buy it?

That depends ..... are you going to use it for it's preamps? Then I would say no.

Yeah, I thought I'd connect mic/guitar to this and plug it to PC with usb. What would be better alternative then? And is M-Audio Fast Track MKII better sounding than this?
