Is this mix worthy?

Hey, my band is going to try to get into the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands this year. Basically you send in your song and info and if you qualify you get to play on a stage at the Warped Tour when it comes by. So anyways, I've mixed down one of my band's songs from our upcomming album. The track is entitled Time. I really want to make sure the mix sounds great to give us the best chance at getting in. Could you guys give it a listen and tell me what you think? One area that I'm very concerned with is the vocal level as I can never seem to get that right. Thanks a lot.
Here's the file:

Sorry... this really needs a re-mix........

The vocal is just hanging out there, while the bed tracks are thin-sounding and have very bizarre imaging. It reminds of listening to a stereo track with polarity of one channel inverted.

And the kick and snare is also just kind of "out there" while the rest of the kit is buried.

I suggest looking up sonusman's mixing thread (recently bumped up to the top) and reading it end-to-end... he gives a lot of excellent tips....

bass city dude. The tracks seem usable but the mix could definately improve.

There are a few timing issues with the drummer and a few pitch problems with the singer. The vocal would probably kick ass with more of an "Alice in Chains" type of treatment. Double it and add a little bite with some amp simulation or distortion. At least thats what I would do ;)

I think you could end up with a MUCH better mix if you guys really try or take it to somebody else.

I think this one's got potential. Need to work on it but it's overall a nice song. Need to work on the drums. May be that you need to mic them differently. I like the guitar sound. I don't think you should add anything to your vocals. Distortion drives me up the wall but that's just my opinion. I think it takes a nice voice and makes it sound like satan. No offence to anyone but that's just me.

This is a nice effort. Here are some suggestions. Everything (the vocals and the lead guitar) seem to get lost behind the rhythm guitar. Also, there is no much reverb on the lead in some places that it sounds "distant". Also, the vocals just sound too plain.

My 2c.
