Is this for real?

If I lived close enough to pick it up I would bid on it. I would also tell the guy at the end of auction that I will bring cash or a bank check when I got there.

I dont think it would be wise to even think that shipping something like that is a good idea.

Dang and I used to live in seatle

I agree Herm. I just wonder, with the guy being a newbie and there being no reserve price on it if it's real. Looks like other's are apprehensive too because its over in 20 hrs and it's only 300 bucks. If it goes that cheap and it's real in the condition he say's someone'll be a lucky bastard.

Plus the guy's got zero feedback. Seems fishy to me.

NO WAY IN HELL!

Not a blind purchase anyway. I avoid zero feedback sellers in general, but this is especially risky considering the seller is a newbie, but is keeping buyer IDs hidden. The only time I ever did bid on a new seller's item I was able to look at his history and contact a recent buyer. But you can't do that here because he blocks seeing bidder IDs -- that's really fishy.

His history shows one other transaction, but he has no feedback and has left no feedback.

I could be dead wrong and someone will get a great deal. I just personally would not take that chance.

The only somewhat safe thing to do is contact the seller and ask for his phone number. If you can't verify a real person with a real address and phone number I would definitely pass. But that's just me.

That's a good idea. I wouldn't take the chance on that one either. I'd wanna pick it up as well rather than take a chance on having it shipped.

Alright, so who's bored enough to watch this one to the end and then post the results?

"NOT IT!"

"Winning bidder: User ID kept private"

  :D

And a tip o' the hat to SteveMac!
