Is this a good online deal?

Hi, im new to the board. Im looking into a complete new home set up. Ive heard some good things about Midiman/M-Audio, specifically the Delta 66. Then when I found the Omni Studio, the 66 + the Omni i/O which had built in preamps, I got excited. I saw it on musiciansfriend.com for $429 as a package. The I checked over at Bayview Pro Audio, and they have the same deal for the same price, EXCEPT it comes with a free The SE1000 studio condenser microphone. Now i realize for free this cant be the best mic out there. But, since all i have is my Shure 57, this cant be a bad deal can it? they also charge no shipping on this item. Just wandering what you guys thought of the deal. Thanks so much, Gary

I've searched some past threads out, and see you guys have already commented on this. Not a good mic, but not the worst on earth either. Sorry I did the research a little late Gare

If you can get the mic for free or cheap it is definately useable. I love it on acoustic guitar. It's a little to essy on vocals.
