Is this a good bass trap?

Thinking about getting a few of these for the corners of my small home studio. Anyone ever used these? Did you like them? I know you can build them yourself, but Id rather just buy them. GIK Acoustics - Tri-Trap Corner Bass Trap - Custom Height Bass Absorber

GIK makes good products. remember, you need to run these floor to ceiling for best absorption.

I have eight of those in this room. They were sort of the "icing on the cake" here.

If it means anything, I actually found them to work better "normal" in the front of the room (corner to the corner) and "backwards" in the rear (that sounds sexy, but it's not). As in, the flat edge is against the wall and the corner is facing the front of the room. It wasn't a huge difference, but it was enough for me to keep them like that. Good stuff, very competitively priced.

For the money, you could DIY your own super chunk traps and they'd be more cost effective.
