you could probably record some pretty decent stuff with this, right? vocals and acoustic. i have the 58 and buying the audiobuddy today. but i'll be plugging into my onboard sound card line-in for now. i'm stepping up from "mic-in" with a Radio Shack mic, and "mic-in" with my acoustic-electric.

the mia comes with cubasis vst. that's a full version right? not a demo? that probably makes the mia worth more than the audiophile, since i'm using cool edit 2000 right now, which kind of is limiting.

anyways, thanks a lot guys!

Nothing inherently wrong with that setup. You should be able to get decent recordings with it.

Definitely a step up from the Rat-shit/shack to the "MIC IN" thing. :D

I think you should be able to make some very good recordings with that chain. If you are micing both vocals and acoustic guit at the same time I'd pick up another B1 or Marshall MXL 603s for the guitar.
