Hi
I want to create a fairly dead acoustic, though with a bit of 'air', in a 3m x 3.7m (x 3m high) room - almost a cube. Mainly to record solo classical guitar.
I am willing to do a bit of trial and error, but does anyone know any "rules-of-thumb" for the amount of dampening and/or diffusion I would need in such a space please? If not, maybe you could at least give your own examples of what worked in a certain space.
The floor is carpeted, though I'd take it up if it really helped the wider plan.
