I just set up a small home studio with a DigiDesign MBox/ ProTools, Roland monitors, Behringer B2 mic, etc. I'm trying to make the vocals I record sound a bit more mixed in with the rest of the song... right now they kind of sound just laid on top of the other tracks. I heard adding reverb was a good way to accomplish this. Is there a basic reverb plugin that comes with ProTools? If there is, I'm unable to locate it...

Thanks!

It's called D-Verb

Yup D-verb. Its pretty good and easy to use without loads of different variables. It should be there with 4 band Q. and basic compressor.
You know how to choose a plug in yeah? Clicking the wee box above the channel in the mix window.

Yep, D-Verb. If you want to vocal to blend in, try applying the verb to the whole mix as opposed to just the vocal.

Never heard that one before. You might not want to add d-verb to the whole music track. but if you have recorded your track instrament by instrament. In other words u made it and split it up in pro tools. You might want and try putting some D-Verb on a couple of the instraments. But that's it. To get the vocals to blend in while using D-Verbs on just the vocals is to play with it and get just the right amount on there.

P.S. I live by the D-Verb that is my most used pro tools plug in
