for all u guys who used both softwares (pro tools and samplitude) which one is better for recording and mixing? or is there another program better than both of those?

I think samplitude is better than pro tools.Samplitude is more open you don't have digisign telling you what they think you should use. You can add any gear and plugs that you want.Samplitude sounds better IMHO

I agree with the previous post - but Sequoia is the big brother of Samplitude and I now use that.
