or can I just not get to it for some reason? I've not been able to access it for 2 days now.

I can't get to it either.
I just tried a couple hours ago and got nothing. And it's still down...

Sorry guys, aussie tel co strikes again - last I talked to John, he was working on having the site transfered to US servers. Not sure what the time frame is yet, but I'll post any updates here... Steve

Please do update us knightfly.

I haven't had the opportunity to check it out yet...

Latest info is it should be up by tonite... Steve

Steve,

Has John said what was SPECIFICALLY the problem?

No, only that it is now going to be on fiberoptic so it should be faster... Steve

^^^^ Thanks to you I know what a "leaf" is. I was wondering if you could help me out on something. I'm in the bay area, looking for thermafiber (2.5 or 3) but I can't find the suppliers. Two companies were listed on the site but as you know we can't access it yet. Considering you're on the west coast would you happen to know of a place in the bay area that stock thermafiber? Both companies were in San francisco if that info is of any help.

thanks

Sorry, I don't have that info offline either - although if we keep having problems I may just download the entire site at least once a week - I did a basic google on thermafiber SAFB san francisco, and came up zilch. I'm about 90 miles south of Portland, so not much help there either... Steve

No, last I heard he was considering a different IT guy; much as I'm enjoying the vacation, it's getting a bit tense, sure hope it gets sorted out soon... Steve

I having withdraws.

I should have printed out all the posts that I have been putting off on reading in depth. I'm getting close to starting my studio <6 weeks> and I still have to plan out the materials and everything to buy. I can't do that until I finish learning the why's and how's on construction specifics.

Last thing I want to do is start asking questions here that I know Steve has answered several times over there.

Ron

Makes two of us - I'll check with John again tomorrow for any news... Steve

John's site appears to be back in business, just in case your withdrawal hasn't killed you yet... :=)
