Is it possible to have nuendo reconize and use 2 interfaces at the same time. i.e. fw-1884 and a firepod at the same time for a total of 16 ins at once?

Cubase can do it, so I would imagine it's possible with nuendo. You might encounter track alignment problems if the latency between the two devices is different, however.

Just make sure that you clock both devices with the same wordclock and you should be OK.

In one of your dropdown menus (it's called "Devices" in Cubase SE), you can select inputs and outputs. If you don't see the ones you want, go to Device Setup (or similar) and select the devices there so they will be available as inputs.

Cubase and Nuendo can only use 2 devices if they share the same ASIO driver. This usually means 2 cards of the same make and model.
