Last month I lost my valueable data for the 2nd time when I saw a message "Invalid format"for one of my Hard Disks on HD24.The only other message I could see was"FORMAT HD1....?.I consulted many "experts" but found no solution.I had no choice but formating the Hard Disk and the result...every body knows I lost all my valueable data.I should tell you guys that when this happened for the first time I consulted Alesis "support" but they had no solution.I am afraid what will I do if it happens in future?

Not sure -- it's never happned to me, but make sure you're running the latest OS.... you may also want to check the HD24 group forum on Yahoo - someone may have encountered something similar...

And always back up your data just in case. Never had it happen to me thankfully, but if it did, Id know I only lost a day or two of material at most.

I use an HD 24 and had a the same probem recently Robert Ray at Alesis to me that the problem (at leats on mine) was caused by the connection in the media caddy.

They played with it and got it to work.
