Really hoping it's the cables, gonna borrow my friends tomorrow.
I do plan on buying a large diaphragm condenser in the near future, but really can't afford it now.
I just want to be able to practice mixing some simple acoustic guitar/vocal and what not - but with this kind of signal, it seems I really have to be excessive with just gain just to be able to hear the darn thing.
