I invited some friends over. one to man the controls, and another to play some lead parts if he wanted. the guy at the controls was supposed to lay some bass down, but left to dallas before he could. so i thought it worked without bass. this is what exam time at university inspires.

I like this one a bunch. Reminds me a lot of that early Beck record (One Foot In The Grave) I like so much. Good informal, homespun feel with a touch of weirdness there in the middle. I always like music that sounds unaffected - as if the guys just set up the mikes and *played*. The occasional string buzzing or what have you may be noted by some, but it sounds good to me.

I like this song.. The first thing I noticed is it seems a little "sonically lacking". With a song containing just acoustics and vocals you will have a lot more headroom to play with. But other than that this is a fine performance!
