I have recently purchased and have been using a Tascom DP-004 4 track recorder. It is being used primarily to record from music played on an organ which has 2 auxillary stereo feeds. At the moment I have been feeding these two leads into a stereo jack which in turn is fed ino the "A" input socket on the DP-004. On configuring the input for the DP-004 I find the volume of the unit is considerably enhanced if I set it to MIC(as apposed to "Line In"). Is this right or should I be setting it to Line In and separating the two input leads and feed them into Input's "A" & "B" at the same time? Unfortunately the small guide supplied with the machine is not very extensive in how differing inputs (other that guitars) should be set up. Is there another book/guide that someone can point to to.
