I walk the line
Need recommendations for above. I can either go with a head, or a power amp that I'll run a modeler, or possibly a pre, into. I've got 2x10 and 1x15 cabs. The (200W) 2x10 will be big enough for 95% of anything I'm likely to do, but it would be nice to be able to use both cabs if I wanted to.

What's your price range, notCardio?

I've got a Hartke HA2500 that puts out 250 watts into 4 ohm, which is probably what you would have with two 8 ohm speakers (interestingly, I'm using a 2-10 and a 1-15 as well).

Sweetwater has them for $250, but I got mine for less -- Hartke gear doesn't have a high resale value, so you might find one used for a friendly price. They have innovative tone controls, and a graphic EQ, so it's fairly easy to dial in a sound. They are also light weight.

I'm looking at

a used Ampeg B2R. I think it's 200W @ 8 Ohms, and 350W @ 4 ohms.

Anyone know anything about these?
