individual tracks.

I am new to recording and recently got a set of drum mics and the yamaha mw12 usb mixing desk with cubase lE.

How can i record the drums to individual tracks instead of them all being together on the one track.

ie, kick on tr ck 1,snare track 2 etc.

I believe that USB can only transfer two tracks at a time.

I thought USB was limited to 4 In/4 Out. But I could be wrong about that. Maybe it's 4 IN at one time or 2 IN/2 Out Simultaneously.

Anyway if you want anymore tracks than that, you need to go FireWire. (or USB 2.0 like the USB 2.0 version of the MOTU 828mkII)
