It's ALWAYS good, ALWAYS good, ALWAYS good to have a redundant backup going on. I'm a firm believe in CYA (Cover Your Ass). RAID set up, 300GB external archive, a couple usb drives, and back ups in different locations (PGT & Weatherman has weekly full backups on HD, and 1 on disc and 1 on a server wherever godaddy is located at lol.
Change of POETS said:Well, every individual project is backed up to DVD as well. But the master backup is the external drive.
If the client wants more assurance, then they have to pay for it.
gullyjewelz said:ok im doin back ups now - im using Nero to create my back ups - i personally like it to burn cds, never used it for back ups. never did back ups like this either. hope its the same thing . .. in the past i just BURNED a cd of the entire project as a DATA disc - its the same thing rite?
