Attention!! All noobies to the spanky deck immediately!!! By special orders of FRAU SPANKENHEIMER! :D

The first and most important lesson you must learn in the world of recording is discipline! If you do not have discipline, then spankies will ensue! :eek:

Secondly, you must listen to all wise and impertinent information that anyone with a long green rep glowworm gives you. And must obey all those with rep power above 100. If they need to borrow your recording gear, you will send it to them postage paid! :D

Thirdly, if you believe everything you read, you will not survive !!!! :p

There will always be free beer, Nyquil, and Short-bus rides. There will also be a lot of BS-ing in the Cave. Come to the Rep Point Thread at your own risk, but know that we are your friends and will stand by ya in not-so-good-times and most importantly.....

There is a lot of great information in this Forum. So TAKE ADVANTAGE and learn, keep a good sense of humour, and share your own knowledge and experiences!!!

I was just wondering, will I ever learn enough so that I will no longer have to consider myself to be a noob? Granted, I've learned a lot in the past couple of years but there is still a lot which absolutely boggles my mind. Anyway I want to say thanks to those who have given me advice (some of it actually worked) and to say you're welcome to anyone that I might have helped.
 
Yeah lots of "good" advice for newbies. And when I say "good" I actually mean crappy. :D ;)

No seriously though good advice on the sense of humor thingy.
