impedance.. ohms.. help!

I'm not a them, they, you, us, or anything. I'm a Greg. I'm just asking you some questions about your curious mental state. If you were just some single guy with nothing, I'd support your efforts to vanish. You'd probably be doing us all a favor. But you said you have a kid, and going "off the grid" is pretty irresponsible parenting.

Again, this is all hypothetical. I'm pretending that you are being real.

No barry, I didn't "build" anything around you. I'm not the reason you failed as a productive human being. I made no decisions for you. I'm also not talking bullshit for the benefit of any circle. Most people here dislike me as they do you, so it's not like I have internet allies or anything. I'm talking about you not taking care of your child. I do support you going away from society, but not at the expense of your poor kid.....if you actually had one.
 
I'm pretty sure it's not Barry. I can detect little differences in speech patterns, etc.....There are millions of "Barry"s roaming the earth, unfortunately, but they're not all the same guy. This guy seems more helpless and "victimized". Barry was just as fucked up, but more aggressive. Of course, it could be the same guy on a different prescription, so what do I know.

It looks like the mixer issue has been resolved -- or, as close to resolved as it could have gotten -- but I'm curious about this "off the grid" thing. I'm not sure what "system" you've abandoned, how this website is supposedly a part of it and what a circle is (beyond a shape). It almost sounds like you think people are employed by this site to answer questions. As much as I wish that were true, it isn't the case. We all just have a common hobby and want to help each other out by sharing information. I've gotten a lot of quality advice here. If this site is part of some "system," it works and I don't want to "quit" it.

the input impedance specification of your amplifier not is under 1 megohm,

Although piezo's are crystals, they behave with resistors like a capacitor. Like any cap, lower the impedance and you get a low end R/C reaction. Like a cap rolls off the low end with a smaller impedance load, so will a piezo crystal.

You can usually get away with 1 meg ohms for a 90 hz guitar bandwidth, but for an extended low end response, 10 meg ohms is the ideal load."
