The demos that I watched sounded horrid. It has the same "bees in a glass jar" sound as the rest of the Amplitube garbage. They must have modeled Fender amps that had been dropped down a couple flights of stairs.

Although youtube audio quality isn't the greatest it's not that difficult to tell the difference between a bad recording and a bad sounding product. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEHjE_oVUkw

spot on review. to me, its just that fender amplitube sounds "different" - i appreciate having the versatility it brings.

It's nearly as good as Overlouds TH-1...not quite though...and it uses nearly twice the CPU on a DAW (nearly as bad as ReValver)
...personal choice of course and all imho

So I've been messing around with the demo version of this for a good 2 hours now.

The cleans are pretty nice, still not what I was hoping. But still very close.
The dirty on the other hand. I have yet to find something that really has a good full crunch to it. So that's a bummer.

Overall I feel there is definitely still a solid state feel to this program. I feel like I can get Much better tones out of my Super Champ XD.

I suppose it's too bad for me that this isn't fantastic to my ears.

I'll keep messin though.
