EXCITER WASN'T ON...!
Ummmm....well, I checked out my compressor last night fully expecting the exciter to be turned on...and well...it wasn't. Which really pissed me off, BUT, I did notice that the output volume was kind of jacked up (as opposed to zero where I used to have it). I was only able to do a couple tracks, but not really enough to figure out if that was the problem. It did seem like it might be better.
I did however take the compressor out of the loop and it still had that bright feel (which, I'm not necessarily trying to get rid of bright, I'm trying to get rid of that strange "edge" I seem to be getting)...I'm kind of hoping that it was the output volume being up. I'm also guessing that Behringer is not exactly top of the line, so there might be some issues with that output volume.
I'll play around more with it more this weekend to try and figure it out.
Thanks for the help people!
